Royal Sun-Dried Tomato Strips in Basil Seasoning Brine 360/200g

Tomato strips sun-dried and seasoned with basil. Tomatoes are picked ripe, halved, salted, and spread out on large cloths to dry. The Mediterranean summer sun evaporates the moisture from the tomatoes in a few days while preserving the valuable nutrients. The dried tomatoes are cleaned, sliced into strips, and preserved in seasoning brine.

The tomatoes are full-flavored, so you can easily use them in all cooking and baking. The strips are excellent for risottos, orzottos, omelets, and salads. Tomatoes preserved in mild seasoning brine have a juicy, sweet, and fresh taste.

To reduce saltiness, tomatoes can be soaked before use. Keeps at least 10 days in the refrigerator after opening.
