Meira Mineral Salt Fine Iodized 80g

Meira Mineral Salt contains sea salt, which is made naturally from seawater by evaporating the water with solar heat and purifying the remaining salt. Iodine has been added to the salt to ensure sufficient intake. One kilo of salt contains 25 mg of iodine. Meira mineral salt has over 50% less sodium chloride than regular salt and contains health-promoting minerals such as potassium and magnesium. Reducing sodium and ensuring sufficient potassium intake in the diet help maintain normal blood pressure. Due to its low sodium content, mineral salt is not suitable for preservation or salting fish.
