Buckwheat groats cook quickly (cooking time approx. 10 min) and are inherently gluten-free (except for other cereals processed in the same factory). Buckwheat groat is the whole buckwheat seed with the inedible husk removed. Nutritionally, buckwheat is an excellent side dish option.

Buckwheat is versatile for cooking. You can quickly prepare a tasty side dish from it for meat or vegetarian dishes, risotto, or a hearty salad. You can also add buckwheat to stews and casseroles or make a traditional oven porridge by slow-cooking in a baking oven.
